የተወደዳችሁ የኢትዮጵያ ቴክስታይል እና አልባሳት ባለሙያዎች ማህበር (ኢቴአባማ) አባላት በሙሉ!
ማህበሩ በይፋ የስራ እንቅስቃሴ ከጀመረበት ከ 2016 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ ህጋዊ የአሰራር መደላደሎችን በመፍጠር እና ማህበሩን የማስተዋወቅ ስራ ላይ ትኩረት ሰጥቶ ሲሰራ ከቆየ በኋላ፣ ነሐሴ 7/2018 ዓ.ም. የተሳካ 2ኛ ጠቅላላ ጉባኤ ለማካሄድ በመቻላችን እንኳን ደስ አላችሁ እላለሁ፡፡
ጉባኤው እንዲሳካ ከፍተኛ ርብርብ ላደረጉት የኢቴአባማ የስራ አስፈጻሚ ኮሚቴ አባላት፣ እንዲሁም በኢንዱስትሪ ሚኒስቴር ስር ለሚገኘው የማኑፋክቸሪንግ ኢንዱስትሪ ኢንስቲትዩት የኢትዮጵያ ቴክስታይል እና አልባሳት ምርምርና ልማት ማዕከል ላደረገልን ከፍተኛ ድጋፍ በማህበሩ እና በራሴ ስም የላቀ ምስጋና አቀርባለሁ፡፡
በአጠቃላይ ባለፉት ሶስት ዓመታት በዋናነት የተሰራው ስራ ማህበሩን መሰረት የማስያዝ እና የማስተዋወቅ ስራ ነበር፡፡ ለዘርፉ ኢንዱስትሪ እድገት ኢትዮጵያ ካላት እድልና ዘርፉ እየገጠመው ካለው ዘርፈ-ብዙ ችግሮች አንጻር የኢቴአባማ ድርሻ ከፍተኛ በመሆኑ፣ ከአሁን በኋላ በርትተን የምንሰራበት ጊዜ ይሆናል፡፡ አዲስ የተመረጥን የኢቴአባማ የስራ አስፈጻሚ ኮሚቴ አባላት የተጣለብን ኃላፊነት ከባድ መሆኑን በመገንዘብ በግልም ሆነ በጋራ ጠንክረን መስራት እንዳለብን በአክብሮት እያሳሰብኩ፣ በ2019 የስራ ዘመን ለዘርፉ ኢንዱስትሪ ችግሮች ተጨባጭ መፍትሔ የምናመጣበት እና በተግባር የምንሰራበት ዓመት እንደሚሆን ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ፡፡

Congratulations to all members of the Ethiopian Textile and Apparel Professional Association (ETAPA)!
Since initiating its official activities in 2023, ETAPA has focused on establishing a solid legal foundation and introducing the association to government, non-governmental organizations, and key stakeholders across the textile and garment sectors. Following these foundational efforts, we successfully conducted our 2nd General Assembly on August 13, 2026.
On behalf of the association and myself, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the ETAPA Executive Committee members for their tireless efforts in ensuring the success of this assembly. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the Textile and Apparel Industry Research and Development Center (under the Ministry of Industry’s Manufacturing Industry Institute) for their invaluable support.
Over the past three years, our work was primarily dedicated to institutional setup and outreach. Moving forward, given Ethiopia’s vast potential for textile industry development alongside the multifaceted challenges facing the sector, ETAPA has a vital role to play.
Recognizing the weight of the trust placed in us, the newly elected Executive Committee members must work diligently—both individually and collectively. I am confident that the 2027 fiscal year will be a period of actionable progress, where we drive practical solutions to address the core challenges of our industry.
